| B. TECH. DEGREE COURSE

A pass in the Pre-degree Examination of the University in Kerala State or Examinations considered equivalent there to with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics only and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics Chemistry put together.
OR
A Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations of Kerala State or Examination considered equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education after undergoing an Institutional course of at least 3 years, securing a minimum of 50% marks in the final diploma examination.
The candidates should have appeared for the qualifying examination before appearing for the Common Entrance Examination.
Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December. No relaxation of the minimum age limit shall be made on any account.

B. TECH. (PART – TIME) DEGREE COURSE Top |
Candidates shall be Indian Nationals, either natives of Kerala State or employed in Kerala State.
Candidates shall possess the following qualifications:
A. A pass in the Diploma Examination in Engineering after under going regular institutional
course of 3 years.
B. Candidates should be in employment in the Engineering profession in
1. Government service
2. Semi-Government /Companies/Corporations and Board
3. Private companies registered under Companies Act or
4. Private (aided) Polytechnics and Private (aided) Engineering Colleges in the state.
They should be in professional employment for at least two years at the time of submitting the application after passing the Diploma Examination. Training of any kind will not be taken in lieu of experience.

| M. TECH. DEGREE COURSE Top |
A. Pass in B. Tech. Degree Examination or equivalent examination recognized by the University of
Calicut in the respective branch of study.
B. Admission is normally through GATE and such candidates are eligible for the award of the
Government of India Scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- per month.

| M.C.A. DEGREE COURSE Top |
1. Qualification / Eligibility for admission
Candidate for admission to the MCA course shall be required to have one of the following
qualifications.
2. Selection of candidates to all seats will be made on the basis of the rank obtained in the
Entrance Test subject to rules.
3. Reservation of seats:
A. 15% of seats will be reserved for Scheduled Cast and 7.5% for Scheduled
Tribe candidates.
B. One-third of the remaining seats will be reserved for candidates from outside Kerala and two-
third for candidates from Kerala.
C. The seats unavailed by Scheduled Cast candidates will go to Scheduled
Tribe candidates
and vice versa.
D. If any seat in reservation quota is left unavailed of by candidate of the particular category, it
will go to the open merit pool of Kerala State. |
