The Department conducts seminars, workshops and symposiums on a regular basis under the auspices of the Mechanical Engineering Association utilizing the services of experts and engineering professionals. The Department has been organizing off Campus Event “The Motor Show” for past several years involving Automotive Companies and Dealers in Kerala. The student chapter of the institution of Engineers (India) is very active.

The placement wing of the department in association with the college placement cell arrange facilities for conducting campus interviews and selection and requirement of students by reputed industrial organizations /companies.
